WORSHIP NOTES

 

Are you interested in how the worship services at Cottonwood are created?  Are you interested in lay leadership?  Do you know how communion is prepared?  Do you know who coordinates for the flowers in the sanctuary?  Would you like to participate in the children’s sermons?  Have you noticed the candles at the front of the sanctuary or the children’s bags at the entrance to the sanctuary?  Have you noticed the colored paraments hanging at the front of the sanctuary?  Are you interested in learning about being an usher?

If you answered yes to any of the previous questions you might be interested in serving on the Worship Committee.  This committee meets on the 4th Sunday of each month in Room 1 at 12:30.  Please feel free to join us in helping to prepare for worship.

 

Future Nursery Job Vacancy—Our nursery attendant, Sat
Kirtin Khalsa, has asked the Administrative Committee to begin the
search for her replacement, as she is graduating from the University of
Utah in May and starting a new chapter in her life. The position during
the regular church year is from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and during the
summer, with only one church service, the hours will be reduced. The pay
will be based on experience and qualifications, and will be in the $11 to
$12 per hour range. If you are interested or know of someone that is

Sat Kirtin has been our dependable nursery attendance since
February 2007. If we can hire a new attendant his spring or summer, she
is willing to help train the new person.
