NEW BULLETIN FORMAT ON TRIAL

At the October meeting of Session, a request from the Worship Committee to test a new bulletin format was approved.  This test will begin on November 2 and will continue for 3 months.  The new format is a tri-fold on 11x 17 stock.  Please use these months to evaluate the new format and provide feedback to the Worship Committee by placing comments in Elder Mark Ruff’s box or sending him an email to Mark.Ruff@comcast.net

 

Are you interested in how the worship services at Cottonwood are created?  Are you interested in lay leadership?  Do you know how communion is prepared?  Do you know who coordinates for the flowers in the sanctuary?  Would you like to participate in the children’s sermons?  Have you noticed the candles at the front of the sanctuary or the children’s bags at the entrance to the sanctuary?  Have you noticed the colored paraments hanging at the front of the sanctuary?  Are you interested in learning about being an usher?

If you answered yes to any of the previous questions you might be interested in serving on the Worship Committee.  This committee meets on the 4th Sunday of each month in Room 1 at 12:30.  Please feel free to join us in helping to prepare for worship.
