Prayer Pyramid

PRAYER PYRAMID FORMAT CHANGE

In order to have the Prayer Pyramid serve the Lord and families and friends of Cottonwood, the following changes will be enacted as of September 1, 2008.  In the past, it has been evident that we are not functioning at our best.  I hope this will clear up and update our service:

  1. It will be the responsibility of the PERSON REQUESTING the prayer to update me on continued need to be on list.
  2. If I am not contacted, they will be removed from the list after 2 months’ period of time.
  3. We will continue to leave those on the list when we are requested to do so for an indefinite period of time.  It will still the RESPONSIBILITY OF THOSE REQUESTING to let us know when prayer is no longer necessary.  If we do not hear from those requesting for over a period of 3-4 months, the person(s) on the list will be removed automatically.           
  4. We will continue to pray for those listed in the bulletin for 1 month after their removal from the bulletin.
  5. No one on the pyramid will have responsibilities to check on the prayer requests.
  6. When I receive a new request for listing on the pyramid, I will call/email each of the members of the pyramid so that communication is accurate.
