The Nominating Committee continues to meet for training, to prayerfully consider persons for Elders and Deacons and to meet with individuals to identify their gifts, skills and interests. We take this search seriously as we need individuals who have the necessary skills and are able to give a reasonable amount of time to carry out the responsibilities of care and oversight of this Church. Persons who feel they or someone they know have received a call to serve should provide the names to a member of the Nominating Committee, or the names can be left in the Church Office or the Nominating Committee Elder’s mailbox

Right now, the Nominating Committee is looking for four (4) individuals to serve as Deacons for the Class of 2012. We are also starting to identify individuals for Elders and Deacons, Class of 2013.

Now is your chance to be a part of Cottonwood and to provide a valuable service to your friends in the congregation.  Remember, If you are tired of seeing the same individuals serving as Elders and Deacons, this is your chance to provide a real service to Christ and your fellow man.
