A big thanks for all the help received to retrofit the light fixtures in the Sanctuary. It took two Saturdays to get the work done. In addition, a fence and gate were rebuilt in the back by the sheds. Those that participated were: Bob Jacobs, Bob Graves, DeeDee Simer and her daughter and granddaughter, John Enez, Roger Fadness, Roy Kristensen, Jack Van Klaveren, Jody Good, Rick Urbom, Dave Schultz, Bob Beaudoin, and Frank McElwain.

What’s
Cookin’

whats cookin
“What’s cookin’?” you ask.
A commercial-grade kitchen that meets health
code requirements. Compliance with codes will
avoid mandatory closure of our kitchen and
allow us to continue our ministries involving
food and fellowship for:
• PW
• Neighborhood House
• Fellowship events
• Community outreach
Essential ingredients include:
 A functioning hand sink
 Updated and additional electrical outlets
 Adequate storage facilities
 Stainless steel counter tops
♦ Safe and efficient
♦ Counter height dish washer
♦ Oven and stove
♦ Cooler and freezer
♦ Ice maker
♦ Small appliances
AND, above all, a coffee making system!
This is a “rich stew” that requires many cooks!
We’ve already raised over $40,000, but we
need approximately $120,000. And in keeping
with our commitment to mission giving, at least
10 percent of money raised will go to mission
projects.
Your contribution to the stew will help us
continue and expand our Cottonwood
ministries!

NOTICE:  The newspaper pickup from the bin on the south side of the parking lot will be emptied more often now – Every Thursday.   We have had a real problem with papers being left alongside the bin when it is full.  With the strong winds we have had, the papers get blown all over the church grounds and even into the street.  If the bin is full, PLEASE come back later or find another bin to leave them in.

Thanks for your help.
